I first fell in love with Ladurée when I was in Paris nine years ago. The famed Parisian macaron patisserie is very rarely without a line wrapping around it’s exterior. The sweet treats have their pull, but Ladurée’s decor of pistachio greens, cherry blossom pinks and lilac purples tempt all the same. I was thrilled to learn through Habitually Chic that Ladurée is here on New York’s Upper East Side. As a follow up to my post on The Cherry Blossom Festival, I am happy to report that Ladurée New York is offering a limited edition cherry blossom-flavored macaron and Fleur de Cerisier scented candles in boxes designed by Japanese fashion designer Tsumori Chisato. The macarons are out of this world. And the bougie fleur de cerisier will remind you of spring all summer long.Ladurée Paris.Ladurée New York.Tsumori Chisato themed windows, candles and macaron boxes. The amazing Fleur de Cerisier macarons. The special edition boxes to celebrate Ladurée’s 150 Year Anniversary feature a different designer monthly throughout the year.Hello Kitty is the next featured box design.
