I first fell in love with Ladurée when I was in Paris nine years ago. The famed Parisian macaron patisserie is very rarely without a line wrapping around its exterior. The sweet treats have their pull, but Ladurée’s decor of pistachio greens, cherry blossom pinks and lilac purples tempt all the same. As a follow up to my post on The Cherry Blossom Festival, I am happy to report that Ladurée New York Madison is offering a limited edition cherry blossom-flavored macaron and Fleur de Cerisier scented candles in boxes designed by Japanese fashion designer Tsumori Chisato. The macarons are out of this world. And the bougie fleur de cerisier will remind you of spring all summer long. Hello Kitty is the next featured box design. Just in time for Easter.
