The colors first caught my eye as I looked up into a worksite in the East Village. Upon further study, the shells of fireplaces and crackly layers of paint and wallpaper were revealed. A stunning composition on its own that I might have missed if I hadn’t stopped for a moment. If only these walls could speak…what stories would they tell? Soon, they’ll be gone.
